27th Annual Eta Omega Giants Game. We're 17-9!

  • Party Time: 10:30am
  • Game Time: 1:05pm
• Where: Probably Parking Lot D

• Game: Giants versus Colorado Rockies
• Seat Location: View Box Section 327. We’ll have a section almost to ourselves!
• What: Beer and peanuts provided. BBQ available for use. (bring our own meat)
• Cost: $40/ticket.

I only purchased 25 tickets so if you want a guaranteed ticket, get your $$ in now. First come first served.

Of course many in the crowd will be charter members of Eta Omega, and there are always guys there from every era. Call some guys who you haven’t seen for awhile and make it a pledge class reunion. Guaranteed to be a good time and you never know who you’re going to see. Even if you’re not a baseball fan, you’ll have fun.

Need Alumni Volunteers for Mid-Year Alumni Conference in Stockton

The Mid-Year Alumni Conference is being held in Stockton on February 21. It’s a half-day event that involves round-table style discussion with other alumni (of all ages) from all Nor Cal chapters.

We need one or two volunteers to go! As soon as we get a volunteer we’ll update this page and let you know. Right now we’re still looking.

2008 Alumni Weekend Scheduled for October 3-5 in Chico

It’s that time of year again – time for another crazy alumni weekend. Come run around town and pretend you’re still in college. The chapter is going strong and leading the Greek system and the alumni support is the best it has ever been. Come see what has changed and see whats still the same. Alumni Board Update

Q1, 2008 RECAP:

• April’s Active/Alumni work weekend at the House was a success, and on a shoestring budget. All funds were donated by alumni. Pics: http://www.flickr.com/photos/reither/tags/20080330/
• EtaOmega.org website went down because Esposto was the administrator, and he moved to the Bay Area. Obviously it’s back up now…brand new design.
• Our finances/books needed attention – they were all still paper-based until this year. Everything has been migrated to QuickBooks now.
• We found a new CPA in Stockton to file our taxes (charges $500, but says he can eliminate some fees that we currently owe)
• New Chapter President (Adam Shea) and his exec are working to get 16 leases signed for 2008/2009.

CURRENT:

• Got volunteers (Ed Stone, Mark Geenen, Brian D., and Tyler T.) to help out with Alumni Fundraising.
• Priority summer project is to fix the house roof and gutters to prevent further leaking.
  • Brian Flournoy is heading this and donating all materials.
  • We still need to raise money to pay for the labor…which is estimated at $25,000 – please donate to the House Fund if you can.
